Chundu Island is the ideal place to relax as you share in the sounds of nature along one of Africa’s biggest rivers. Chundu Island has 6 River View Suites each accommodating two persons. The River View Suites are configured with either a super king or twin beds. The open-plan suite has an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath and private outdoor shower. Each suite has its own private deck with a day bed and seating area overlooking the Zambezi River allowing for a tranquil space for you to relax and enjoy a cocktail or a cup of coffee and immerse yourself in your surroundings.

Situated on the other side of the lodge are 2 Family River View Suites. These suites are configured with either a Super King or Twin Beds and have a separate second bedroom with two beds for children.

The 2 Family River View Suites each have a 2nd bedroom with 2 3/4 beds for 2 children up to the age of 18. Should both family units be occupied and provided that the maximum number of children under the age of 12 accommodated on the island is 6, a third ‘rollaway bed’ can be accommodated in the River View Suites for a child under the age of 16.

Children under the age of 6 (six) years by request. Maximum number of children under the age of 12 on the island at any one time is 6.
Children aged 6 and over are welcome, however certain activities are age restricted both for safety reasons and in accordance with the Zambezi National Parks Policy.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”12px”][vc_column_text]

Child Minding Services are available at an additional cost. Morning child minders work from 06h30 to 14h00, and evening child minders are available from 14h00 until 22h00. Earlier meal times are arranged accordingly at the lodge. Please enquire about these services at Reception.
